Official category: 4 stars. Created in the year 1816. A hotel used since the Ottoman period as a rendezvous for caravan merchants travelling between North Africa, Europa and sub-Saharan Africa. It is located at Bab El Bahr near Tripoli harbour and very close to the Arch of Marcus Aurelisu, which is a landmark and the most important Roman remains in the town. The furniture is according to the traditional hand-work. Your visit will certainly be a journey through the ages.
